Climate Action Merri-bek is involved in campaigns against waste-to-energy incinerators. The Victorian government recently issued cap licenses allowing 2.35 million tonnes of mixed waste to be burned annually. This is in addition to existing licenses. This would increase Victoria’s emissions substantially.
